Graduated from Baruch College with a B.A. in Graphic Communications in June 2019.
Parted from the Baruch Performing Arts Center as their graphics assistant, Let's Get Ready as a Success Coach, and the Baruch American Marketing Association as Creative Director.
Planned to take a gap year after graduating to develop my graphic design skills as a freelancer. Covid-19 hit and consequentially focused on recovery.
Bounced back and partnered with a past colleague from AMA to rebrand her venture, Yes Media Agency, formerly known as Thalia Yes Media.
After rebranding, I continued to work on Yes Media Agency as a design consultant and a social media content creator for the brand.
Parted with Yes Media Agency to start up my own business on Etsy called Mooni's Sketchbook.
Mooni's Sketchbook was officially launched on March 2022, catering specifically to consumers who are shopping for K-Pop stickers and stationary. I continue to manage the company's brand, social media content, product design, quality assurance, and shipping logistics.
At the end of the first quarter of officially launching Mooni's Sketchbook, it had maintained a healthy 3.5% conversion rate in relation to visits/orders from March to June. In addition, there was an overwhelming positive reception for product quality and customer service; quantified by over 50 five-star shop reviews.
Utilizing the capital gained from Mooni's Sketchbook, I reinvested in the shop to expand product development.
March 26 marked a full year of operating Mooni's Sketchbook. The shop maintained a 3.6% conversion rate in relation to visits/orders, has fulfilled 400+ sales, garnered 170 5-star reviews detailing great customer service and product quality, and has achieved Star Seller status for 8 consecutive months.
Expanded the shop once again by contacting fan groups in other cities to set up freebie ambassadors, delegates of the shop to give out concert stickers and other fanmade memorabilia made by I during concerts.
May 01 was when I began to work under Amiee Lynn Inc., a fashion supplier company for Walmart under the jewelry and accessories division as a Junior Packaging Designer.
Primary responsibility was to aid the Senior Packaging Designer in conceptualizing and finalizing product packaging for some of Walmart's private labels, those being: Time&Tru, No Boundaries, Wonder Nation, Hello Hobby, Way To Celebrate, and Holiday Time.
Tasks besides packaging conceptualization included: Product Photography, Mockup Creation, Market/Product Research, Product Staging, Presentation Design.
Senior Designer went on leave and so I was placed as Interim Senior Packaging Designer of the Jewelry and Accessories division.
Responsibilities were expanded to oversee the packaging design process from start to finish to ensure prompt deadline completions for multiple brand projects across two to three seasons at one time.
Worked directly with packaging suppliers to ensure best price and correct art production for a season's packaging needs. With this I also took charge of quality testing samples and amending fault areas before continuing into mass production.
Worked directly with the Walmart Packaging Team to ensure artwork and proofs were up to brand standards for final production.
Worked alongside the Creative Director and VP of Walmart Sales at Aimee Lynn to guarantee the best presentation to Walmart PD and buyers during roadshows.
Trained and oversaw the work of two packaging designers in my term.
Amicably parted ways with Amiee Lynn Inc. in mid November 2024 to realign the interests in my career path.
